The brand is an expression of their lifestyle and recreates classics for the future - striving to create clever footwear designs and good quality products. History influences the look and feel of everything they do now and in the future.
Daniel Patrick, born and raised in Sydney, Australia, moved to the U.S. in 2011, founded Daniel Patrick Inc. and launched the knomadik by Daniel Patrick line in early 2012 with his wife, Jenny. These collections draw from a number of inspirations that are true to who Daniel is, and this identity becomes more and more poignant from collection to collection. Drawing inspiration from his favorite cities, Los Angeles and New York, his love of hip hop music and desert hikes, while also combining his athletic background with a minimal and militant appeal, each collection unfolds. Daniel is continuously creating and tweaking and is known to drop new pieces more frequently than the regular fashion calendar dictates.
IISE, which translates to 2nd generation, is a brand dedicated to creating products with a street interpretation of Korean heritage. Each piece is made in Seoul, utilizing a combination of Korean fabrics, techniques, and a mix of modern and traditional design aesthetics. Quality Peoples takes cues from Mexican folklore and street culture, Hawaiian surf history, timeless men's style, contemporary art, and the nomadic nature of a life lived in search of waves. The brand was established in 2010 as an art collaboration between co-founders Ed Fladung and John Esguerra, when both quit their jobs and moved to a foreign culture independently; Ed to Mexico and John to Hawaii. Using their camaraderie as surfers, artists, and designers, the two have grow Quality Peoples as a brand inspired by their experiences in their respective cultures.
Quatre Cent Quinze is an adventure between highschool friends. The motto of the brand is "Per Aspera Ad Astra" which is the latin for through hardships to the stars. Their creations come from passion such as litterature, cinema, music. From the cotton field to the printing, this brand sees their clothes as bios. Their carbon footprint is significantly reduced compared - in the cotton field, no pesticides are used - because Quatre Cent Quinze respects both men's health and the earth. Their t-shirts have the label "global organic textile standard".
A pioneer of Los Angeles streetwear culture, X-Large started as a shop in the LA neighborhood of Los Feliz, on Vermont street in 1991. Opened by Eli Bonerz and Adam Silverman, the store catered to their diverse community and was quickly adopted by personalities such as Mike D of the Beastie Boys, Spike Jonez, and Chloe Sevigny. The X-Large clothing brand was a true reflection of its surroundings and Los Angeles lifestyle. The brand drew inspiration from work wear, vintage, and club scene aesthetics; to mid-century design, skateboarding and music influences. Iconic for its Gorilla logo, X-Large is established as one of the originals and continues to influence generations of streetwear culture worldwide.
